
Kate Pousont Scarborough, E- RYT 500 and Director of Shelburne Falls Yoga. Kate has been teaching groups and individuals in movement and somatic practices for over fifteen years and received a B.A. in dance from the University of Massachusetts. Her studies inevitably lead her to yoga, and she received her training as a certified Kripalu yoga instructor in 2009. She has since completed her Professional Level 500 hour Certification at Kripalu Center and returns to assist and facilitate the 200 and 500 hour teacher training programs at Kripalu.
Kate offers a unique blend of classic Kripalu Yoga and range of somatic and movement techniques designed to bring students to their fullest potential in mind and body and create an environment for growth and rejuvenation. Drawing from a love of nature, movement, and philosophy, she creates a yoga experience enjoyed by new and experienced practitioners alike. An avid practitioner in body, breath, and mind, Kate is dedicated to helping students of all ages and levels of ability reach their full potential through an exploration of the many facets of the yoga tradition.

Loren Feinstein earned his bachelor’s degree from Vassar College in New York and is currently studying for his master’s at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is a multi-instrumentalist musician with over 20 years of experience playing in many different styles, with cultural influences from all over the world. Until recently, composing and producing original music for movie soundtracks has been his main focus, including entirely original scores for award-winning documentary features.
Qigong, Yoga, and other forms of conscious body awareness have played a critical role in Loren’s development as a person and musician. He seeks to share this passion for health, self-improvement, and world betterment through his music, using a unique blend of African, Asian, Native American, and Western instruments to create a powerful sound experience, leading people on a musical expedition into themselves to find harmony within and connection to each other and the living Earth.
